Winchester

So long, Winchester

My bags are almost ready, and in a few hours I am leaving camp. I cannot believe that I am actually going to meet my host family tomorrow, and even though that is SO exciting, I really do not want to leave camp. We have had so much fun over the last two weeks, and I am really going to miss these people so much. To begin with I think it will be a bit weird not waking up and then go have breakfast with fifty others, and I am probably even going to miss the creepy lady on the trays in the canteen. My bus leaves at 9 AM, so I should probably be sleeping now, but oh well. Tonight basically consisted of all the campers crying and hugging each other while the students who arrived yesterday was watching us like “what the heck”. Even though I have only known most of these people for two weeks, we really have bonded. Cannot wait to see everyone again at The Farewell Days next year! Going to camp is one of the best decisions I have made, and if you are thinking about doing an echange year with EF, I strongly recommend you to go to the Language and Culture Camp.

I wrote this post last night, but I fell asleep while writing it, so now I am actually on the bus heading to Birmingham. There was a lot og hugs and crying today as well, and it was really sad to say goodbye to everyone.

Way to go, Norge.
